About

Who does the work, and which licences cover it.

Directors still work on the tools. The people beside them bring more than 30 years in the trade, including facility and property management. The workshop is in Yatala. The work runs across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Ipswich.

The whole mechanical job

High-wall splits and ducted homes, and also chillers, air handlers, cooling towers, car park carbon monoxide systems, stair pressurisation and the controls that tie them together. The technicians are refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics. Most are dual-trade. A ticket that only allows someone to hang a split is not the licence this work is done under.

The company holds QBCC 15348955, covering air conditioning and mechanical plumbing, and electrical contractor licence 89969. Specialised HVAC are fully licensed electricians. The company also holds NSW contractor licence 502756C and ARC refrigerant trading authorisation AU57074.

Clients already on the books include offices, apartments, homes, schools, hospitals, hotels, government buildings, shopping centres, entertainment venues, cinemas and aged care. That mix is why one visit can cover a filter and a fire-mode test.

How a job is priced

A maintenance program can sit at the visits that keep a warranty and meet compliance, or at a best-practice schedule for the asset. Either way it is priced as maintenance. Repairs are quoted on their own, so a low contract fee is not recovered later as a surprise invoice.

There is usually more than one brand, fan or system that will do the duty. You get that choice with installation cost, life and parts support. Public liability and product liability are each held at twenty million dollars.

Standards

Work follows the relevant Australian and New Zealand standards and the industry codes the trade uses. Technicians keep manufacturer training current. On a site with a long history, such as Ephraim Island, that includes which parts are gone and which replacement will still carry a warranty.
